Cesky Krumlov (CZE)- Klenova Mongol Rally Czechout Party (CZE): part 1
July 22, 2014
Wake up early at 7am to explore the town and the castle. It is a misty and rainy morning. All the shops are closed. Because of its early morning emptiness and quietness ones can imagine how life was back in time.
The camera just cannot capture how beautiful this city is. You have to come and soak it in. The smell of morning dew, the cobble stones alleys, the old medieval wrought iron wood door…etc.
At 9am we all meet back at Anna Pension and are surprised at the beautifully presented breakfast that comes with our stay. It is delicious, healthy, and solid. Check out is at 11am, and they are super nice to let us park our car in their garage until afternoon.
We walk back down to town for two things- Honey Cake and Eggleton Brewery tour. We find the honey cake at a beautiful shop that only sells local honey and Gingerbread. Then we go to Eggelton and find out that the next brewery tour is 2 hours later so we hangout at a shacky outdoor place where local elderly folks come and get drink at noon. The Eggeleton dark and the Honey Cake is a perfect pairing.
